Take hold of my instructions; don’t let them go. Guard them, for they are the key to life. Don’t do as the wicked do, and don’t follow the path of evildoers. Don’t even think about it; don’t go that way. Turn away and keep moving. For evil people can’t sleep until they’ve done their evil deed for the day. They can’t rest until they’ve caused someone to stumble. They eat the food of wickedness and drink the wine of violence! The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like total darkness. They have no idea what they are stumbling over.

This year our Power Couple Retreat is being held in the charming city of Folsom Ca.
We have all heard it said “Now there is a power couple!” It’s often used in a worldly sense to describe a wealthy or successful couple. But what if that phrase better described a couple who had God’s Word as a lamp to guide them? What if their “power source” was the Holy Spirit as they made decisions? What if God’s Kingdom purposes were their goals and ambitions? And what if Jesus Christ was their example? Now that would be a “Power Couple!”

You and your spouse will enjoy this beautiful 18,000-acre lake while staying across the street from the newly remodeled Hilton Garden Inn. Folsom Lake Recreation areas offer opportunities for hiking, biking, running, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, water-skiing and boating. Fishing offers trout, catfish, big and small mouth bass or perch. For cyclists, there is a 32-mile long bicycle path that connects Folsom Lake with many Sacramento County parks before reaching Old Sacramento. The bike path is considered to be one of the finest of its kind in the nation.

Friday night opening session 7:00pm-9:30pm (check in 3:00pm).
Two Saturday Sessions; Saturday morning 10am-12:30pm / Saturday evening 7pm-9:30pm (free time Saturday afternoon)
Sunday morning 10am-12:00pm
